Our beautiful Kansa wand, with a wooden handle and a bronze domed tip, lovingly handmade in India. Used to massage the face and stimulate Ayurvedic marma points for healthy energy flow, skin purification, collagen stimulation and facial contouring.

‘Kansa’ means ‘bronze’, which is known in Ayurvedic tradition as the ‘healing metal’. Kansa has been used for thousands of years to promote healing, and tools such as this one are used to massage the face in order to release tension, promote blood flow and detoxification, enhance skin elasticity and texture, balance skin pH, reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eyes, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and fortify the skin against the effects of ageing. Kansa wand facial massage can also improve sleep, clear the sinuses and deeply relax the body and mind.
Beauté tip

For an age-defying facial massage, glide the Kansa wand over the brows, circle slowly around the eyes and mouth, sweep up to the temples, down the neck and over the chest. Target marma points with gentle circles at the temples, between the brows, at the eye corners and either side of the nose and mouth. Repeat each motion several times, breathing deeply, and use your intuition to feel when and where to move on.

Directions

Apply a layer of Bee Venom Beauty Boost, or your chosen oil, balm or serum, to a clean face, neck and décolleté. Sweep the Kansa wand over the face and in small circles over specific marma or acupressure points. NB. Do not be alarmed if you notice a greyness appearing on the skin, this is the pH balancing effect of the Kansa and is easily washed away.

Texture

The domed bronze tip is smooth and cold to the touch, warming upon contact with the skin.

Ingredients

The tip of this Kansa wand is made from pure bronze, which is an alloy of copper and tin and known in Ayurvedic tradition as the 'healing metal'. The handle is hand-carved wood and as such the grain and colouring may vary slightly from the image shown.

Our Kansa wand’s domed tip is made from sacred Indian bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with other trace minerals. ‘Kansa’ means ‘bronze’, and is known as the ‘healing metal’ in Ayurvedic tradition, said to possess the power to balance the three doshas: vata (air), pitta (fire) and kapha (earth/water). Kansa is also said to attune and enhance our body’s electromagnetic fields, bringing us harmony, healing and vitality. As an alkaline metal, authentic bronze can also balance the skin’s pH, promoting optimal hydration, reduced inflammation and prevention against signs of ageing.

Wow, I've been using a gua sha for years but have only recently discovered this kansa wand. I LOVE it! The massage feels totally different, very relaxing and perfect for lifting and contouring. I'm learning about marma points and feel I notice a difference in my face. I'm going to buy a second one so I can use two at the same time! THANK YOU!
